Guest kreebage
1955 Ford F100 Factory 4 wheel drive .......I bought this truck in 1988 from an older gentleman that I'd known for years; he used it for running around on the farm. He told me that it was a special order from Ford for the forest service and believed that it was a Marmon Herrington conversion. It has the stock F100 frame with heavier suspension. This is NOT a F100 on a later chassis. I pulled the 239 Y-block 11 years ago to put in my '54 Ford panel delivery. At that time the 4 speed and transfer case worked well as did the brakes and steering. I intended to restore it when I got time, but you know how that goes. Windshield is a little wiper blade blemished, the passenger side glass is good but drivers side and back window are damaged. Bottom of bed will need repair due to rot, body is straight except for some dents in the drivers front fender as shown in pictures, there is no bondo or filler of any kind in truck. This truck has never, to my knowledge, been in an wreck, the frame is straight, there currently is no engine in it. Great candidate for a Rat Rod or do a full restore. Asking $1500 obo, no trades. Willing to transport it for $1.00 per loaded mile within 200 mile radius from zip code 98338. Guest Gary Hearn
Is it my imagination or does it appear that the front wheel is too far back in the fender opening?
Jim Rohn
it would probably center itself once the weight was back in the frame (engine/etc)
Guest kreebage
Hi Gary,Good eye on your part; I had to go out just to make sure we were seeing the same thing. Actually, the wheels are turned slightly to the right, making it appear that the wheel is too far back. Thanks for your question.
