Guest gwatkins
I'm helping a friend source parts for his 1930 Erskine and am looking particularly for shop/owners manuals. NOS, used or repro is fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?TIA, Gordon Watkins Parthenon, Arkansas

Guest stude8
You can get a new one right away at Faxon's, good quality repro's.Stude8http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/product.cfm?p=11427&cs=products%2Ecfm%3Fvt%3D1007%26mk%3D6284%26yr%3D1930
Guest gwatkins
Thanks for the info. My friend has the Faxon manual for '27-'30 but says it doesn't cover the the '30 Erskine as well as the description implies. I'll check ebay but if anyone comes across a manual specifically for the '30 Erskine I would appreciate a heads-up.Thanks,Gordon Watkins

rbk
The 1930 Erskine is identical to the 1930 dictatorThey are both called the Model53.The earlier Erskines were completely different cars.In 1930 Studebaker decided to use Studebaker engines in the Erkines.Half way during the Model year they decided to drop the name Erskine.Left over cars were rebadged Studebaker.Robert Kapteyn
