Can anyone identify the transmission pictured? It is a three speed and has patent dates of May 06 and Jan 09. The case is aluminum and it has a S/N 44288.

It is a brown and lipe gear box. They made transmissions for all sorts of cars. They took there basic design and changed the mounting arangments to fit a paticular car manufactures needs. Without knowing the hight of the square drive center line to the mounting area and the mounting hole spacing, square drive size, length and width it would be praticuly imposible to know if it would fit your aplication. Velies ran this style transmission for at least 4 years and every year it changed mounting style and size. This is not a Velie transmission Also is it for sale? because if the gear cluster is the same as my car I would love to rebuild my transmission that is in much worse shape than this. Call me let me know (619) 873-5550 thanks Chris
