keiser31 Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 1949 or 1950 Nash Ambassador or Statesman. the 1949 had sort of flat overriders with grooves and the 1950 had rounder overriders. drwatson Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 (edited) Are you certain it's "1950"? The only clue I see for model is the illegible script on the left front fender. That script looks short (not long like "Ambassador") and might have said "600", If it did, that would make it a 49 model. john2dameron Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Do you have access to the car where you can check the wheelbase? 1949 600's/1950 Statesman's were 112-inches; 1949-50 Ambassador's were 121-inches. In 1949 both series came in 3 lines; Super Special, Special and Custom. 1950 had 2 lines, Super and Custom plus there was a Statesman 40 Series business coupe.
