1946 Derham-bodied Dodge???

Don't know who owns it, but there was an article about the Derham bodied Dodges in the WPC News years ago. I have it somewhere, but cannot locate it. The car in question was in the article, I believe.

Guess it could be legit... Derham did do custom car bodies for Chrysler Corp, usually limos and formal cars, and usually on Chrysler chasses.

Unusual car - looks the backlite was inspired by Studebaker ( an interesting pre-Forward Look amalgam of Exener and MoPar)...

There was a photo feature in Collectible Automobile August 2010 page 24. Says it was used as a show car by Dodge when new, then sold to someone in Vermont, then bought by a Dr Roger Leir in Thousand Oaks Calif in the 80s in badly deteriorated condition. Was restored and won a First Junior at the AACA Western Fall Meet at La Quinta Calif in 2009.

Hope this helps out.
