V12Brown
What is the correct color for the fender welting for my '35 Senor V12. Body color or black?
1935Packard
It looks black here, at least to me, but it's sort of hard to tell. (It's black on my car, although I don't know if it's original.)
Guest Twunk Rack
solid black. "egg-shell"..meaning not quite as shiny as the stuff avail. today. Also, the stuff avail. today isn't QUITE as big in dia. as the original stuff.( I wont tell on you, tho....!)

Guest Twunk Rack
Twunk Rack, what was the original size? thanks, B = = = = = = = = = = = Sorry - cant help you. The original stuff went into the trash can when I pulled the fenders off to try and get a "factory-appearing" re-paint. Yes, I should have saved a section for historical purposes. All I can tell you from memory is that it was close to TWICE the diameter of the roll of replacement fender-welting I bought from a local "chain" auto parts store ( Pep Boys ).Oh - that was 1957.....!
