MochetVelo
Do any of our Forum members visit to the Detroit Public Library National Automotive History Collection? I need some research help in their collection of "Light Car & Cyclecar" magazines.Phil
AACA Library
Have you checked with the AACA Library & Research Center in Hershey to see if we have what you need? We do have issues of that title from 1913-1925.ChrisLibrarian, AACA Library & Research Center
MochetVelo
I'm especially interested in the 1919-1921 issues, Chris. Do you have any of those?Phil
Steve Moskowitz
We probably have all of those based upon Chris's reply. You have lots of options. You can come visit the library and do your own research. The library is free. We have a color copier there and you can have copies made for a nominal fee.You also can fill out a research request at AACA Library and for a little more of a fee get research done. AACA members get 1 1/2 hours of free research per year.
MochetVelo
Thanks, Steve. Unfortunately, the AACA Library has only 2 issues of the Light Car & Cyclecar magazine, and Detroit has the entire run. Maybe I'll have to go to Detroit myself, but if anyone is planning a visit to the Automotive Library and can spare a half hour to leaf through the 1919-1922 issues of Light Car & Cyclecar, please let me know!Phil Edited November 14, 2009 by MochetVelo (see edit history)
