ronbarn
Juha, welcome back - haven't heard from you in a while. I checked the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942. There is a brief history of the Jackson which was made from 1903-1923. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Mr. Wrede. You may need to go to the AACA library for more detail info. Guest
Dear friend
A Finnishman, Mr. G. W. Wrede used to be a chief engineer at Jackson Automobile Company in Jackson Michigan. After having returned back to Finland he designed a tractor which was called Kullervo. This tractor was manufactored here in Turku during years 1919 and 1924. The total production was 300 tractors. At the moment we know four survivors.
I would like to learn more about Mr. Wrede´s role at Jackson Automobile Company and Jackson autos in general. Do you know where to find this information? Any information is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Sincerely

Juha Kaitanen
Läntinen Rantakatu 65 A 11
FIN 20100 TURKU
Finland
e-mail: juhakai@wakkanet.fi
