Guest gwatkins
In helping a friend assess his "new" '24 Business Sedan, we're trying to figure out the use of the filler cap just to the right of the starter button on the floor board. It's filled with heavy grease and when following the line underneath, it appears to go to the tranny. Is this the filler for the tranny? Does it use such heavy grease rather than 90 wt or similar? It doesn't seem that grease would flow through the small line. Hoping someone can enlighten us.Gordon Watkins

Guest gwatkins
What wt. of grease/oil was specified? Do you just keep a visible level in the filler and gravity does the rest? Thanks,Gordon Watkins
Guest 1930
It was turned down every so often slightly at specified intervals to grease the bearing, they were not sealed bearing as they are today. I have replaced mine with a sealed bearing so I cant be any help of reccomending what to use these days.
