My 1918 E-49 has had a collision with a Land Rover and come off considerably worse.

Front axle, radiator, Remy-Delco starter/generator, hood etc v badly damaged - does anyone have any spares, or know of good contacts for spares for a 1918 E series Buick? All help/suggestions gratefully received.

Nick,

I think the older axle I have is a 1916, it has one 24" wood felloe wheel (right side with speedo gear), and measure about 51" kingpin to kingpin, was used as a trailer axle.

I think the 18 has the same front track as the 16 but would have 25" wheels.

Can I hijack this old thread slightly, allright completely.

i need a front axle beam for a 24 44 6 , I am hoping everyone who posted above will get a note saying reply and one may still have an axle?

in the meantime will also post a new thread.

how is the rebuild going, I have numerous small spares that may or may not be of the period.

thanks

phil

I have a 1918 E-49 front axle, radiator, starter / generator, hood. All from an E-49.
