does anyone here remember the car at the Indian Motocycle Museum in Springfield Mass. it was the only one built by Indian [1928].i know the museum closed a long time ago.anyone know what happened to the car?

Really? I was at the Indian museum a few years ago, okay, maybe like six years ago. The car was still there then.

As best I understand, the City of Springfield was to include some of the cycles and car in their museum, and I think it was to open late this year or 2010. I will see if I can find more and let you know.

The car is still in the collection. I was at the Springfield History Museum on 5/10/2014 and saw the car. It is number 4 of the 4 designs considered. The info states that Indian decided to get into the auto business because the Model T was selling for less than the Indian twin and motorcycle sales were dropping.
