Balancing Wood Wheels

An older shop that balances truck wheels on the vehicle could do it. One of the shops that has a sensor that sits under the axle and registers the balance when you spin the wheel with the engine or an electric motor that has a friction wheel to spin the vehicle wheel.

It sounds like you are talking about a brass car? Generally these are 30 - 36 inch heavy wheels on a car that probably doesn't go fast enough to have wheel balance problems. If you are having wobble or vibration problems it is more likely caused by some other problem. Wheel out of round or not true on the hub or bad bearings maybe or even steering and drive line issues? You could use a bubble balancer with the wheels off the car with the drums attached.
