Prospect Illinois; there will be a gathering of Thunderbirds, Toronados, Reattas on Saturday, July 18th in the downtown parking lot, junction of Hwy 83 and Northwest Hwy (Rt 14). Jim Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 From my experience if anyone is planning on attending the 6 PM show they should leave their home at least 4 hours early.Last Friday evening about 7 PM I drove through the Chicago area and it took forever. I did the trip again yesterday afternoon and same result. Vincent Vega Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 I really hate what they did with the tri-state tollway down there. I go through the area 5 times a year maximum. It's not worth it for us to buy a speedpass or whatever they call it. They really slow you down if you are paying cash. 2-3 lanes with no automation. Plus, it is more expensive.
