Guest peterebay@yahoo.com
This photo was taken at the Southeastern Fair near Atlanta, Georgia on July 4, 1940. Do you know the maker and model name of the car? Thank you and sincerely, Peter Please email me at peterebay@yahoo.com
keiser31
Looks to be about a 1902 curved dash Oldsmobile. Some later ones had the Oldsmobile logo/crest on the side of the body. Edited July 2, 2009 by keiser31 (see edit history)

Guest Stllrng.
Looks like an early one, 1903 0r 1902. Look at the squared off shape of the body at the rear; 'o4 and later had a rounded corner. Also, no brakes on the rear wheels, '03 and earlier had the brake on the transmission.
nzcarnerd
I checked with a local CDO owner and he agrees 1902 or 1903. They could be had with wire wheels or wood wheels.
