DavidP 0
If only this was true ... Some of us may even be willing to pay DOUBLE that amount for a NEW original Model T from the factory ...
Guest Trunk Rack
O.K...I'll "bite". What is the point to that ?
adam_knox 0
The Onion is a satirical weekly newspaper. Usually pretty darn funny. Thought you guys would get a grin or two out of it.
Shop Rat 6
I wish I had known about that article back when it was first published. Our late friend Doy Maston, a true expert on Model T's, would have LOVED it. He passed away last year. This was his 1923 T parked outside the church for his memorial rervice. Oxnard Montalvo 2
I don't think I'll be buying one, I've gotten used to extras like starters and exhaust pipes. Thanks for the heads up though.
adam_knox 0
Susan, sorry to hear about your friend. Glad the article at least made you smile and think of him.
keiser31 5,855
If you look close at the car in the article, you can clearly tell that it is a Franklin Mint or some other model that has been superimposed onto the Ford background.

If he had a part and someone in the club needed it they very well might find it on their doorstep. He loved to pull pranks on his car club friends. A ton of knowledge about T's, and pretty much all Fords since he had been the service manager for the largest Ford dealership here, when he died. He learned to drive using a Model T.
