F/S 1968 Rviera GS 45,615 Original Miles

Recommended Posts

I am assisting an older woman selling this car. I am not involved setting or negotiating the price. She said it ran and functioned perfectly the last time it was driven. It has not been run in about 10 years and rather than her try to have someone get it going, I suggested letting the new owner take precautionary steps to start it to avoid someone butchering the car.

1968 Riviera GS - Price $12,000 or best offer.

45,615 original miles – Original owner, original condition.

No body work or paint touch ups.

Never in an accident.

100% rust free from what I can see. Never driven in snow or salt.

Options:

Gran sport, Power Windows, Cornering lights, Manual A/C, Road wheels, 8-track, Deluxe bucket interior with long console, Rear defroster, Carpet savers and handy mats.

Paint is Code S for Olive Gold Metallic – Which looks more of a darker green

Has original order sheet and a "faint" copy of the sticker

Owners manuals and other literature that came with car.

Car has been in temperature controlled garage since 1976.

2 of the 3 V-belts are originals

Original 3 stripe spare in trunk.

Original spring ring battery terminals and hold down.

Black deluxe bucket interior in outstanding condition.

Paint has some wear in the form of smaller chips on the passenger door but the rest would clean up nicely.

Very slight crease-type ding maybe 2-3 inches long on driver door but paint is not chipped.

Chrome is nice original but does show some fading.

The wheels are very nice but I did notice one has some chrome peeling about 2" long around the edge.

In general the car is a very good example of the term "survivor" but it is by no means flawless.

If you are interested and have more questions let me know. I can email higher resolution photos.

Hi Jason,

I would like to discuss some further details regarding the storage and condition of the Riviera. You may call me @ 732 310 1847 or leave a number where I can contact you.
