You've been warned!!

I store my '24 at a buddy's garage and it drips oil. Every time I drive it there's a spot. Well I finally checked the oil level in the rear. Even though it still dripped, it was empty! I guess it had become a habit and it couldn't quit, don't know where the drips were coming from. Check you oil levels!!

The differential on my '22 did the same thing. There was very little lubricant left when I checked it this spring, and the little that was left was water-contaminated. I was really lucky that I hadn't ruined that DB diff.

Lucky for me I read this note --- checked the differential this weekend in my '25 and had to add quite a bit of 600W steam cyl. oil -- probably about 1 1/2 pints. It's hard to believe that those occasional drops on the garage floor added up to that much of a loss. I recall topping it off about 3 years ago. Bottom line -- don't assume there is oil in there - check it.
