Guest Buicklover Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 Good Morning,I need some help/direction in finding the black bumper strip that goes from side to side on my '83 Riv rear bumper.A week ago, a BIG Sysco Co. semi made a short turn in a parking lot & tore up the right rear & bumper. Fortunately, Sysco has excellent insurance, but some of the replacement parts will still be hard to find. RivNut Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Bill,I have the rear bumper off my step son's '85 which has since gone by the wayside. There's some rust on the bumpers so they're only good for replating BUT the strips are in really good shape. I'll sell them for the cost of a replateable bumper, but I can save you some freight by pulling the strips off if you're interested.
