Guest 40series
I made no attempt to clean them and took them outside for better light. I have posted pics for all to see. Don't hesitate to ask for additional pics if needed.
RivNut
Those covers are from a '66. Identifiable by the OE "dent" in the inside front corner of the drivers side cover - bottom picture right side (necessary for some CA emissions equipment,) and the two holes on the same cover, one for the breather and one for the oil filler. On '65/'65 covers, there's only one hole - for a twist in combo breather/oil filler.
Guest 40series
Thanks for the additional info. What I do know is they where with a 65 Riv GS I bought as a parts car. It was disassembled in 71 and sat in the barn since then. There where no other covers in the parts and the owner said they where on the car when he bought it new in 65. Car is originally from Alameda, Ca.I have no other parts for sale right now but I have a complete 64 I am also parting.
