1935 56s

I have not owned my 1935 56S Buick very long. I have tried to look it up on the internet and although I find a few 56S from other years I have not found anything about the 1935? This is a sweet car, all complete with newer paint and interior, all numbers match and no rust. I found the 1935 96S which looks identical with the side mounts etc. but I know the wheelbase is much shorter on the 50 series. The site with pictures says the 96S is a lone survivor. Could other owners out there please contact me. Could mine be a lone survivor? Except for the title which shows all matching numbers, I have no paperwork with this car. Someone who knows, please advise or send me to someone who does.

Beautiful car, records indicate 268 Model 56S special coupes ( 4 passenger, rumble seat ) were manufactured in 1935 with another 11 ( model 56SX ) for export.

Have included the 1935 advertising catalogue page for your information.

Suggest you have a look ( and post some photos!! ) on the Buick Club Pre War site.
