Beware of scammers at auctions, I had bought a car recently at auction and in talking to a guy on the ramp about getting her home I was told they could ship to the midwest for 175.00 on an open trailer. This guy said he was a sub for a major carrier and that I should go talk to them at their booth which I did--they said 500.00 and they only ship enclosed. Later when I was back with that driver, here came the sales rep from that major--she was a looking for that driver and saw me and scampered. I am 99% sure they would have booked me in enclosed for 5 hundo and hired the open trailer guy for the haul making big bucks. Bottom line, buyer beware before AND after the sale !
