Guest John W. Harvey
58 Buick, I STRONGLY suggest that you do a search on this general discussion forum for the post titled "Yuck, Transport Blues" that had 207 replies. The post was started by res1967 and the last post was on 5-5-01.
You will gather A LOT of knowledge for what are the proper things to do and what you should not do......and I would do nothing until you read that post!
Good Luck, John
[ 10-03-2001: Message edited by: harveyj ]
Guest
Wow, my area of expertise. Please, read that post, or try to get a copy of the August Antique Auto News. Nashville isnt to terribly far from Pittsburgh. I would first recomend trying a uhaul and tow it back yourself! I would then contact some AACA members in that region for any advice they can give you. If you go with a hauler, get some references, and check on the insurance they carry. My two week transport ended up being an almost three month ordeal!!! Good Luck!
rick
