What is the best engine oil for the V12 engines? Also what oil should I use to oil the water pumps and distributor or any other oiling or greasing points?thanks GP Also I have pictures I,d like to share but dont know how!? Guest imported_V12Bill Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 Garry,An other forum on Flathead V 8s asked the same question and someone replied that Castrol Syntec SAE 20w-50 was a good oil that contained zinc "for flat tappet cam Engines".
