Does anybody know if wiring adaptors are available anywhere to put a Pioneer unit,(DEH-P86DHR), into a '90 coupe, without having to cut and splice factory wiring? If cutting is necessary, does anybody have the process documented? Sounds like the capacitors are shot in the factory unit and I have the Pioneer sitting on the shelf. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

you can buy the adapter on ebay here is one:

Item number: 230137132534

you will also need the antenna adapter which is:

Item number: 230139683350

These should work wiring is easy just match up the wire colors and splice them on the pioneer radio wiring. If you have a CD player you will need a different adapter, which can also be found on Ebay.

Good luck

Thanks to all for the help. I was hoping it wouldn't be to complicated. Will report back if I run into problems.

Thanks again,

Kevin

I was able to buy both the wiring adaptor and the antenna adaptor on Ebay for a total of $9.97. I ask you,how can you go wrong with the Reatta Forum and Ebay? An unbeatable combination.

Thanks and have a great day,

Kevin
