Guest re-reatta Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Does anybody know if wiring adaptors are available anywhere to put a Pioneer unit,(DEH-P86DHR), into a '90 coupe, without having to cut and splice factory wiring? If cutting is necessary, does anybody have the process documented? Sounds like the capacitors are shot in the factory unit and I have the Pioneer sitting on the shelf. Guest daveagain909 Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 you can buy the adapter on ebay here is one:Item number: 230137132534you will also need the antenna adapter which is:Item number: 230139683350These should work wiring is easy just match up the wire colors and splice them on the pioneer radio wiring.
