Guest palosfv3
The prefix of the Ford parts number tells year ,make and model. In your case first position is decade d = 7 , next is the year 2 , the next two letters designate the make and model. AZ full size Ford , MY full size Mercury , GY should be a Mercury Montego. D2GY = 1972 Mercury Montego dont have a book in front of me but this should be one of the quarter mouldings.Larry
