R Walling
There is a car on e-bay that is stated that it is a 1955 300. The engin # is listed as starting with 3NE 55, and I noticed that the valve covers do not have the bumps on them for a high lift cam. Is this a real 300, or a Newport or Newyorker with 300 grille and emblems? e-bay item # 120388749267
Guest palosfv3
Early 300 Chryslers came with a 331 ci engine. The 354/392 300s had the solid lifters with the dimpled covers. This appears to be an early car. You can check with the guys at the 300 club for further info.
