We got asked if the ‘63 Skylark could be used in a photo shoot as part of the Bay to Birdwood car rally promotions. Shoot lasted three hours with professional model, producer, photographer and lighting assistant. Day was mild and slightly overcast which was ideal. Photos are taken from the Sunday Mail as well as some they sent to me. Enjoy!

Today at our local Cars and Coffee a nice young woman was really interested in my 1937 Model 80C. She asked if she could sit in it. She first sat in the back seat and then I asked her if she wanted to sit in the driver's seat. She was really excited about that. I gave her my number and told her to call me if she wants to go for a ride sometime. If she calls, I will see if I can get some better photos.

Um, I think that you're supposed to ask her for her number!  :P

Looks like you've found the next Torque Tube II cover photo...

I don't think asking for her number would have been a good idea. I am not sure her boyfriend would have appreciated it, but giving her my business card and offering to give her a ride if she was interested did not upset him. The lighting conditions were not good enough for a Torque Tube II cover photo, but if she calls, maybe I can get a better photo that would work as a cover photo.
