Dane Jensen
Hello board! My name is Dane Jensen and I am a film student at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. This semester we're shooting our senior thesis film, a narrative that takes place in Germany, jumping between the 40s and 60s. We have a very low budget, but are looking to make the film more realistic by adding a period car or two to two of our scenes.Would any of you be willing to help us out? The commitment would be only a few hours on a weekend morning and we would pay for your gas and give you lunch, but unfortunately we don't have much money for any other compensation. For all intents and purposes, this would be out of the goodness of your hearts.Your help would be incredibly appreciated and you'd be doing us a great service. Please let me know if you're willing to help.Best,Dane Jensen '

stock_steve
I'm pretty sure you can also google to find a way to make contact with the "Volkswagen Association of Western New York" (many of whom I believe are into the antique air cooled models). And then I believe the Vintage VW Club of America (www.vvwca.com) also has a Local Chapters/Chapter Reps page where you might also be able to locate some more, relatively local-to-you, old-VW contacts. DizzyDale
Dear Dane,The biggest hurdle you have is the fact that nobody likes to drag their junk out of hibernation this time of year.Good Luck.diz
