Guest TwoDoorBuickMan
The power seat on my 1984 Riviera recently quit working. I could hear the motor running, but it would not move in any direction. When I looked under the seat, I found what appeared to be a nylon connector between the motor and the transmission. It was broken. I called my local Buick dealer and to my surprise, there was a current part number for this connector. It took 2 days for them to get it. It is a slightly different (stronger I hope) design, but fits just fine. It took about 15 minutes to install. The seat works now!
Guest CAJUNRIV
Good information 2Door...I went down to my local Buick dealer and ordered and received 2 for myself. Did you have to remove the seats to install those?
