I need some help from you fellas up there.

My '49 Special (Slipaflow) has everything finer than my new Volkswagon "California" 2005, except that damnedest device called "vacuum operated wiper motor". I found one in good contition in Frenchland three years ago, but it's going to collapse too. Now I'm waiting to collect another one (old, omg!) that I'd just bought via e-bay.

Now I've discovered in the parts pages some electric operated motor suitable for switch from vacuum to electric wiper. Can anyone post here if he's installed this in the vaccum megasleazy former place?

Thanks everybody, and pardon my cathastrophic English.

Yep, OK, it seems I got it. But you hafta agree with me how gloomy is my logic next movement:

I'll perform some box in the Spanish Mail, send the little thing to USA, have it arranged and wait (and pay) another parcel back to Spain. That's the main reason I was sooo interested in the substitutive electric wiper. Them manufacturers -even- offer it in 6 or 12 volts, swearing that it will work righteously.

First & best, I'll contact that wiper clinic...

And thanks all of you. A whole truckload of thanks. Have all of you the best, finest and peaceful 2009!!!
