Guest docfrahm Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 Hi here is apartial breakdown of the cowl tags (I used the "Oldsmobile 442 & W Machines Restoration guide" from Motorbooks International as my source.Kenmando tag:01A = built 1st wk of Jan.66 = year3 = Olds division38 = Cutlass V817 = Holiday CoupeLan = Lansing11270 = Sequential #987-B = Trim code I don't have codes for trim levels maybe someone else will help - I'm always looking for more info.L-C Tropic Turquoise body with Provincial White top (painted)I also do not know what the WO 2L and 5VY codes refer toSiplowguy tag : 070 (maybe D ?) 4th week of July66 = year3 = Olds38= Cutlass V867= ConvertibleLan = Lansing11022 = sequential #M-6 Autumn Bronze with beige topAgain I don't know the othe codes so I hope someone can help out and improve my education level.
