My 352 v8 is stuck after months of soaking,So I just wanted to see if anyone had a very good candidate for a swap?? Also my front quarters have some rust,just wondering if anyone had any cream puff front fenders,so I could avoid patch work?? I also need waterpump,brake kit,hub caps,ETC!!I am located in upstate SOUTH CAROLINA, Just email what you have with price! BRENTPOOLE@ATT.NET THANKS!!!! Guest Albert Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 What are you soaking it in??? normally diesel and auto trans fluid will free it, but you will still end up rebuilding it, it may also be an idea to remove both rocker shafts so you wont bend any push rods from stuck valves.. Guest imported_Speedster Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Yes, Very Improtant to remove those push-rods!Get the pistons moving first, then work on the valves.Get valves moving without push-rods installed.If you have to remove the heads to do it, then it must be done to prevent damage.
