Stanwood automobile

Recommended Posts

The Standard Catalog of American Cars shows the Stanwood as being built in St. Louis, MO, not New Orleans, from 1920 to 1922. They describe it as being an assembled car with a 118" wheelbase using a Continental Six and Grant-Lees transmission. It originally sold for between $1765 and $2750. Its original factory building remained as a warehouse, at least in 1988 when my book was printed.
