DavidHitchinson 0
I was searching the web and found these pics. Might have been posted here before if so sorry for the repeat I had never seen this 37 with front fender skirts before. Not he best pics on this web site but interesting none the less. http://imcdb.org/vehicle_174272-Lincoln-Zephyr-720-1937.htmlHappy Holidays Dave
AceCollins 0
I remember seeing the serial on TCM many years ago. The original Batmobile in the early 40s serial was also a Lincoln.
CBoz 22
Very cool, but with those front skirts, probably has the turning radius of one of those Nash bathtubs they seem to love so much at Hemming's Classic Cars....
DavidHitchinson 0
Thought someone here would appreciate it? I stumbled on those pics thought it was neat to see front skirts were used so long ago. Dave
CBoz 22
Definitely! Makes you wonder how they drove with them. Evidently, the Green Hornet only chased badguys down straightaways
DavidHitchinson 0
I am not sure but the skirts seem to stick out from the fenders? Maybe it turned OK. Kinda ugly anyways but its rare to find a 3 window used in hollywood or use for anything for that matter.
AceCollins 0
As I remember, having seen the serial fifteen or more years ago, the front skirts did move when the wheel turned.
keiser31 5,703
Looking at the front skirts closely reveals that they are only partial skirts...open at the top.
