DGPoff
Since we all are sharing - Here is my homepage for my 1906 Buick F and it's "re-restoration." (unplanned of course!)<P><BR><A HREF="http://hometown.aol.com/dgpoff/myhomepage/auto.html" TARGET=_blank>My 1906 Buick Web Page</A> <p>[ 09-06-2001: Message edited by: DGPoff ]

24T42
The link worked fine although several pictures would not load.
ply33
Weirdness. I can't get there by clicking on DGPoff's link, but if I view source, find the URL and enter it in a browser window I do get there. However I actually get to a slightly different address.<P>The link points to <A HREF="http://hometown.aol.com/dgpoff/myhomepage/auto.html" TARGET=_blank>http://hometown.aol.com/dgpoff/myhomepage/auto.html</A> but I get to <A HREF="http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/dgpoff/myhomepage/auto.html" TARGET=_blank>http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/dgpoff/myhomepage/auto.html</A> instead.<P>Anyway, once there the site looks good, with as 24T42 notes, a few pictures not loading.<P>That is a nice looking car and it looks like a marvelous restoration you are doing. DGPoff
Gentlemen I know your frustration. I think it's an AOL thing. Half the time I try, not all of the pictures load. Sorry!
Guest
DG -<BR>Nice veteran car. I got all the photos to load by hitting the reload button after being told "can't locate/not responding come back some other era". <P>I think that this is an AOL problem. Your webpage took more than 2min 20sec to load, one of the absolute slowest things I've loaded in quite awhile.
Guest rcirilli
I got there and it looks like a great project that's underway. Keep us updated, I for one love to see hard work coming together. Or was that a plan, Oh Well.
Guest SalG (Sal Grenci)
Hi, Things loaded fine through CompuServe, a devision of AOL.
novaman
Nice site. Took 3 minutes (56k) according to my stopwatch. Not all photos downloaded. What will make the site better is if you make your photos smaller before you put them on the site or thumbnail them so the smaller thumbnail is on the page and the person can click on it for a larger image. This will help make the page load faster. Right now the largest image (at top of page) has the smallest file size 22kb. the smaller photos are from 33kb upto 265kb for the crankcase photo.
