shart Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Guys,How do you tell which of the 500 XX Anniversary Edition cars a particular car is? I was looking at one today and saw the gold dash plaque, have the VIN and took a photo of the data plate on the cowl but no where does it say what number in the production total of 500 of these specific cars this one is. RivNut Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 SteveI've owned two of the XX's and as far as I could tell, there was no specific number in the VIN that designates them as an XX (unlike the convertible.) Nor have I ever read anything that would support that there was a specific identifier in the VIN.Are you trying to authenticate one? Bob Norton, MOCARGUY, has the XX registry for the ROA.
