Mochet 1
There are many great French cars little-known in the U.S. I think that's one of the things that makes them so interesting to me. I particularly like the little cars from the '20s like the Citroen 5HP, and Peugeot 161 and 172. The Velocars by Mochet are great fun, too.The 2008 London To Brighton Veteran Car Run this weekend featured French cars this year. Over 200 pre-1905 French automobiles were scheduled to appear, I believe. I'd like to see that event some day!Phil

Good Old Days 0
Hi!To me, no doubt about it, the Citroen DS!Driving it makes my day every time! It's a car for the road, there is no car build yet with the same comfort.I know, I'm prejudiced as being nearly born in one (1958)and a father and father in law driving them, that's how you get in trouble!Mimie1956, is your pic taken at the Citromobile Event in May 2008? It certainly looks like the, Citroen only, parking lot! Here's a pic for you from my DS! BTW here's the link you asked for: http://www.lbvcr.com/index.cfm
Mochet 1
Here's the official web page for the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Only pre-1905 cars allowed. It's 60 miles of bumpy fun:http://www.lbvcr.com/I'm surprised to see that several Americans bring their cars over for this event. It's quite an affair.Phil
