jstro 1
I am looking for some help to identify proper 1921 Dodge Brothers Roadster Top Saddles. Need to find the part numbers as cast into the saddles, and also am looking for a pair. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Jonjstrong@tegoh.com
jstro 1
A friend of mine said the numbers on the saddles I am looking for should be R10 and L10 (Right side and Left side). Sound correct to anyone out there? Thanks,Jon
John1918 0
Mine have 171L and 171R cast into them but they may be off a roadster earlier than 1921. John
jstro 1
John, would you be willing to send me a picture of your saddles? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,Jon jstrong@tegoh.com

jstro 1
John, I think these are the correct ones for my '21. Now all I have to do is find a pair! Thanks for the help.
John1918 0
Hi Jon, Here are a couple of shots, sorry they are poor quality but I can re-do any angle you want, -let's know. Also I posted a pic of my unfinished (but motorable) 18 roadster what the saddles go on. John

jan arnett (2) 194
I need my second cup of coffee.
jstro 1
John....Thanks for the effort. What numbers are on the spine and underside of your handle? Your saddles look exactly like the ones I have. Here is a picture of mine with the numbers exposed as I took paint stripper to it so they may be seen. My Saddle number shows 211L and 211R and under the clamp handle it shows PAT Nov 25-11 and BAIR. Thanks....
jstro 1
Wow thats quite a collection. Unfortunately I do not see one I need. Attached is a picture of what I am looking for. Many thanks for showing the collection. For sure i will keep this picture around for reference.
jan arnett (2) 194
I have never seen on that the rod goes through the saddle. I still have some parts that were washed away in the flood that I have to dig and clean up and there may be some saddles in there.
jstro 1
Washed away in the flood? WOW.... In my limited time of "searching", this is the only one I have seen like this as well. Again, any help is appreciated.
jstro 1
I have been told to look for a saddle with the part number 191 on it. Same for both sides because it mounts through the spine without any offset clamp. Anyone out there see any 191 top saddles? Thanks,
