XK120 distributor vacuum advance

My advance is dead. Would appreciate comments from anyone who has had theirs rebuilt or your experience with NOS. It occasionally shows up, but I wonder if it is better to go that route, with a new, but ageing diaphragm, or go the rebuilt route with presumably new, and perhaps superior diaphragm material?

Will have pictures of a very restorable '53 XK120 OTS that I am offering to trade for a '31 Model A deluxe roadster at my Hershey space CE76. Dave
