Profyrfyter
I'm a firefighter in Central California and our fire association owns a 1944 White fire engine. We bought it from the City when it was retired (for $1) and we've had it repainted. It was painted several years ago and sometime between then and now all the valve/guage labels have disappeared. Is there anyone out there that has a White fire engine or knows of someone with one that may be able to take a couple pictures of the pump panel so we can have some new labels made?Thank you
Steve Hagy
Hi,I suggest that you contact the California Chapter of SPAAMFAA. Hopefully one of their members will have an apparatus of similar vintage that will have Van Pelt gauge inserts. http://www.calspaamfaa.com/Also, there are some Van Pelt apparatus photos in the Youngstown Fire Forums at: Van Pelt Fire Apparatus .Good luck,Steve
