Packard Roadster 1914?

Recommended Posts

Photo from Boston Public Library, Leon Abdalian Photo Collection. Packard Roadster, looks like about 1914. At the bottom of the cowl there's attached a triangular plate that's probably the coach-builder's tag. Does anybody recognise it? I'd like to know who built this beautiful roadster?

Hi Clincher,

I believe that the car is a 1914 Packard 2-38, 38 hp, 140 inch wheelbase, second series, phaeton runabout. See the attached factory photographs.

WOW! Very impressive guys, not often that stuff gets ID'd so quickly with backup information.

With the top down all you had to do to ride in the rumble seat is poke your head through the rear window!

Thanks for the body tag pictures. That's exactly what I was wanting. This forum is surely a great treasure.
