sumac Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Vanderbilt Cup racing trophy won by Locomobile Company, 1908. These smaller trophies are quite rare. The Locomobile was the first American car to win an International race in 1908 and the company based in Bridgeport CT had reception where these small trophies were given out to commemorate the event.
