Guest Posted August 18, 2002 Share Posted August 18, 2002 i just found your website yesterday, never thought about going online for help. i am having the same problem as one of your members. AC stays on even after shutting the car off. the advice given to him/her was to replace the AC power module. do i have to get this from buick or can it be purchased cheaply through a parts dealer? does anyone out there happen to have a parts reatta? garveyhr@roosevelt.navy.mil Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Howard Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 Hi:
That would be me. I had this problem a few weeks ago. I got the part from Jim. In fact I bought two just to have an extra. If I remember correctly, he charged my less than $60 for both. I did not check with the Buick dealer, but would suspect that the part is still serviced and would cost over $100. If the part was hard to replace, I would have opted for the new one. It was not to big a deal to replace, so I opted to save a few bucks. Many people here have bought from Jim before and find him to be a good guy. He got my parts to me fast and at a good price. Howard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Greg Ross Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 If there's one to be had for a reasonable price, contact Jim Finn at;
jfinn@computerpro.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
