91 a/c recirculate mode

after going through a lot of posts regarding air flow , i ran across a reference to the recirculate mode on the 90 / 91 system.

this may be what i was referring to regarding less air through the vents than i once had.

set auto at 60F and unit " is supposed to go to recirculate "

the indicator shows " outside air to dash vents " and not the typical gm icon for recirculating. does the 90 / 91 go to recirculate mode ?

my wife's 03 lesabre is a virtual windstorm on the auto setting until the interior cools down near the set point.

i checked the mix door again and i have it adjusted to full left travel on auto 60F , cleaned out a little more from the evaporator , saw battery voltage on the bcm fan.

is there something else that needs to be investigated ?

where is the inside temp sensor ? there is a small vent on the cowel panel but it is not near the radio area and appears to be inaccessible from the glove box when removed. there is also supposed to be a "sun load" value for the bcm that in florida with all the glass are has to be high.

getting by with the a/c but i still think it has been better .

could there be an issue with the ecc , as i have removed it on occasion while fiddling with the " radio ". but that is another story.

thanx

is there somehow a vacuum issue with the doors ?

what controls the amount of outside air ?

i think the sensor on the firewall measures temp from the condenser.

dumb question , does the blower wheel pull air through the condenser or push air through it?

yes ,i am stone sober , thank you very much
