West Peterson
Even though Joseph Barbera died in 2001, I personally believe that he had a heavy hand in designing the new Camaro... or at least it was his pen that did the grille. He pulled out a picture of "Bingo," a 1960s character on the hit children's television show, "Banana Splits," and imitated that goofy smile right into the Camaro's front end. rocketraider
It was at Carlisle All-GM last month. Not impressed. We all know what GM will do with it; they'll price it out of reach of its target market and then wonder why they can't sell it.I have a good friend who is a longtime Camaro enthusiast. He looked the car over at All-GM and told the GM staff attending it they were going to have a hard time selling that car.I agree. Bill Mitchell is probably about to spin out of his grave at what GM's current crop of anime stylists have done to what was once a sharp car.
