Richard S
The head on my trusty old electric motor driven 2 cylinder compressor started to leak. I removed the head assuming I would see the gasket blown out. It is some kind of composite paper gasket, but not in bad shape at all. From this I have to assume the head may have warped. I put a sheet of sandpaper on a flat surface and ran the head across. Not that bad, really, couple of very slightly low spots that disappeared after running the head over the sandpaper for a bit. I am wondering if there is a gasket cement that I can use with the gasket on a head of this kind to make a better seal.

Reatta45
Use copper coat spray for head gaskets... It can not be beat. KennyV.
Richard S
Would that apply to a paper gasket, Kenny?
