F/S 1970 Ford Torino GT - EXTREMELY original #

Recommended Posts

This 1970 Torino GT is pretty much a straight, clean unmolested, untouched original. 66,157 original miles. North Carolina car. Zero rust.

It has:

• 5 brand new raised correct lettered tires

• Brand new correct exhaust system from the manifold to the tailpipe

• Brand new correct radiator

• Brand new instrument voltage regulator

• Brand a new (and 100% correct - not an AutoZone special) distributor cap, distributor and spark plug wires were installed

• 4 NOS deluxe wheelcovers are on the car.

• The carburetor has just been professionally restored and calibrated.

• Brand new in the box correct headliner

• Brand new in the box correct heater core

Flaws? This is a 37 year old original car so it has some paint scratches, worn chrome in places, tiny cracks in the laser stripe, small dents in various places, two small holes in the headliner, (a brand new in the box correct headliner goes with this car). A dent had been poorly repaired on the front of the driver's door. The air conditioning compressor clicks runs when turned on, but does not get cold. I suspect the condenser. Lastly the heater core is leaking and has been bypassed.

This vehicle starts, idles and runs as it should. The radio, gauges, windows, the correct dealer option rear speaker, etc. all work as they should. The car needs nothing to show, it's just beautiful. Numbers matching 351 2-V. The car wears mostly it’s original paint & lazer stripe.

I have a clean Illinois title in my name.

Email me for many more pictures that I'll send to you. If you want to see the car, just call to make an appointment @ 815-455-9253. Or if you want to call and ask questions about the car, just call me as well. Also, I have a copy of the Marti report. It would be hard to find a nicer more original Torino of this vintage.

No warranties are associated with this car.
