EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The AACA Antique Auto Museum in Hershey is in search of an Executive Director for its world-class facility, an Affiliate of the Smithsonian.

Job Duties: Effectively provides the leadership, strategic direction and management of the organization dedicated to the celebration, preservation, education, and display of motor vehicle history that provides value and entertainment for its members, hobbyists, and the public. Responsible for revenue generation, donor relations, financial management, program planning, and skillfully leading a small staff and a large volunteer group to achieve objectives.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or finance. At least 10 years of proven strategic business management experience with a record of measurable results, in both profit and nonprofit organizations. Strong financial management and fundraising skills are required, as well as passion for the automotive hobby. Knowledge of museum operation is a plus. Seeking an energetic, decisive and inspirational leader, able to help a team reach its potential. Exceptional written and verbal communication ability is a must, as well as organization, planning, and interpersonal skills. Looking for a creative, flexible, positive team player, interested in the varied duties of the key position in a unique organization.
