Curti
I am disassembling a 1936 Auburn. This generator was mounted on it, but is not the original equipment. Any ideas what it is supposed to fit?
drwatson
Is there a AutoLite tag? What's the model #?
Curti
A tag number would make it easy. There is no tag, nor do I see a location where a tag was. The drive end casting has a p/n GPW10138, the commutator end casting is GPW10125.It is a six volt generator. My 1939 AutoLite book dosn't show any five digit numbers so it must be newer than that. Someone out there must need it. I sure would like to swap it for a Auburn generator.
SoCal
Curti, I know this post is Ten years old, but I stumbled across it Looking for a GPW-10125 commutator. If you still have it would be interested in purchase, and if you are still looking for a replacement what is the autolite number you are looking for. I have a supply of generators maybe I have what you need? Edited November 28, 2019 by SoCal clarity (see edit history)
