WTB Delco Shocks

Recommended Posts

Hi George, I used to manage automotive part stores before the use of computers eliminated the catalogs.

We could fit shocks to most any application by first measuring the extended and collapsed length and how they mount on each end. You then go to the index and look up shock specifications which list the extended/collapsed length and have a picture of the ends to be sure that they will be able to install in your vehicle ... so if this makes any sense to you ... find an old catalog many of the old parts stores still have them and start looking by the application which cars the shock you want will fit.

Good Luck Paul

George...I have 2 P1007's, but I haven't been able to determine their application either....Part number is 3198007...I assume a GM number stamped on shock...These have an odd cup shaped spacer on the top end...also painted gold? Mac
